Cyber Club

Throughout my time at UWF I have been a member of the UWF Cyber Club throughout my time at the University of West Florida and during my senior year I became the treasurer of the club. While I was a member of the club I was able to learn and apply skills that I wasn't able to learn inside of my classes. While each of my classes talked about how red and blue team worked in theory in cyberclub I got to see it in practice. Through them I was able to compete in a variety of competitions that tested my cybersecurity skills. I was also able to meet and network with a variety of people from places like the NSA, Lockheed Martin, Booz Allen, Navy Fed and the FDLE. After learning and growing for a while as just a club as an officer I started to give back and teach the club members through a series of trainings and the clubs own cybersecurity competition.
