Hello, my name is David Wilber, and I am a cybersecurity student graduating from the University of West Florida in the spring of 2026. While I have cybersecurity as my major, I also have computer science and honors as my minors in my degree. While I have learned a lot in my classes as you will see later, I also have gained a lot of experience from being a member as well as an officer in the UWF cyber club. There I have applied skills that I learned in my classes to competitions with other students from a variety of schools. I hope to use these skills to secure a job working for either the CIA or NSA. However, while I am working to achieve those goals, I have had the opportunity to work locally at an IT help desk. But all work and no play would make me a dull boy, so I also find time to go to church and the Baptist Collegiate Ministries on campus. Here I am supported by a great community that makes sure to look out for each other and uplifts them. They have helped me when I sometimes feel down and have been great friends to hang out with.Other than that, I often use my free time to either wander around nature trails or play strategy games both physically and digitally. You can find out more about all the things I mentioned later in this e-portfolio. Thank you for your time.Â
